How have I waited this long to try air-fried crispy tofu???!!? 😮 My T-Fal ActiFry has been a game changer for me this year, to the point where I can’t imagine my kitchen without it!
This Asian garlic ginger crispy tofu is #GOALS. Crispy, crunchy, simple, easy & full of flavour, throw it into salads, bowls, sandwiches, wraps, or devour it as is!
PSA: always make sure your tofu is organic & non-GMO & bonus if it’s sprouted to make it easier to digest & provide you with beneficial healthy bacteria for a stronger gut! I used Sol Cuisine extra-firm organic non-GMO fermented tofu.
- 1 pack extra-firm organic tofu
- 3 tbsp. coconut aminos
- 3 tbsp. raw organic apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp. ground ginger
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
- Place a few layered paper towels on a cutting board, place the tofu on top of it, then press down on it with a few more paper towels to remove any excess moisture & prevent it from getting soggy.
- Cube the tofu, add it to the air fryer with the other ingredients & set the timer to 30 minutes. Add 2-3 extra minutes if you want it even crunchier!
