Back in the 514 & getting my veggies ready for the week because this girl eats a hella lot of them!!
Here’s a super simple sautéed mushroom recipe that’s made with minimal ingredients but full of garlicky citrusy flavour! Throw them into omelettes, stir fry, sandwiches, lettuce wraps, salads or bowls or serve them as is as a side dish!
- 1 large package portobello mushrooms
- Juice from 2 lemons
- 1/3 cup raw organic apple cider vinegar
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Black pepper to taste
- Add all the ingredients to a medium skillet. Toss to coat.
- Sauté over medium-high heat, stirring continuously to prevent burning, until mushrooms are browned & cooked through!
