To be completely honest with you guys, I had one of the most anxiety-provoking days in a while. And my anxiety has been flaring up a lot more frequently these days. That’s the thing with anxiety – it comes in bouts. Sometimes, I hardly know it’s there, but other times, it’s flagrant.
I know. I don’t have to share it. I can just pretend it was a regular day & everything is rainbows & unicorns. But it isn’t.
I like to think that most days, my message is positive & inspires you guys to live your best, healthiest & happiest lives.
But, I also think it’s important to share the moments that aren’t just about product reviews, holistic or natural supplements, health tips, perfectly lit selfies & delicious eats.
So here I am, smiling, but anxious AF & putting it out there so that you know that you aren’t alone & if you’re hurting, today, tomorrow or in a week from now, you don’t have to pretend you aren’t.
- You don’t have to put a face on all the time.
- You don’t always have to be okay.
- You don’t always have to be perfect or have it all figured out.
- You don’t have to be what you think everyone else wants to see or wants you to be.
Life is about more than what you see on the surface.
Not everyone chooses to talk about it & that’s totally fine.
But I choose to use my voice to raise awareness about struggles that so many of us go through but that are often tough for others to understand.
I choose to use my voice to tell you that sometimes reality is tougher than it looks in pictures. The grass isn’t always greener on the other side.
So many people are fighting battles you know nothing about. Be kind. To yourself & to others.
Be kind with your words & your reactions. And always remember that it gets better & there’s no shame in living your truth.
