Healthier Low-Sugar Fruit Salad With Fresh Cilantro

Nothing like a fresh fruit salad on a really humid day! Most fruit salads are sweetened with added sugars + syrups, pectin, artificial sweeteners or a combo of unhealthy sweeteners… this one is NOT! I sweetened it with just a bit of yacon syrup + ceylon cinnamon & that’s really all you need!

Have fun with it & use whatever fruit your heart desires / whatever you have on hand! It’s a great way to make use of leftover fruit, wow your guests, family or friends or just enjoy it yourself as an afternoon snack! Full of fibre, vitamin C, natural sweetness, antioxidants + liver cleansing, blood purifying, naturally detoxifying greens!

TO MAKE:

  • 1 kiwi
  • 1/2 pear
  • 1/2 plum
  • Handful cilantro or mint
  • Splash yacon syrup
  • Ceylon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup blueberries
  • Juice of 1 lemon

HOW?:

  • Add all the ingredients to a small bowl + mix until fruit is coated.
  • Top with more cinnamon + enjoy!
