Got home from a double workout the other day, first, a full body P90X workout with a monstrous cardio block + then, a killer booty + lower body burn so this smoothie was V-NECESSARY!
I loaded it up with vitamin C + antioxidants to fight all the inflammation in my muscles, promote quick recovery + to nourish me from the inside out, cashew butter for healthy fats, vegan vanilla sprouted protein for amino acids + gut health & moringa + spirulina for liver detoxification, skin health, energy, extra protein + my greens fix! To bulk it up, I added broccoli to reduce sugar, add fibre, vitamins + minerals.
To top it off, I drizzled the delish Granolust chocolate crunch granola: delicious, nutritious, crunchy + made with clean ingredients! It’s SO important to add something you can chew to your smoothies in order to send the signal to your brain to trigger the digestive process + production of digestive enzymes in the body!
- Huge handful spinach
- 1/3 cup steamed then frozen broccoli
- 8-10 frozen strawberries
- 1/2 tbsp. cashew butter
- 1 tsp. spirulina
- 1 tsp. moringa
- Ceylon cinnamon
- Splash pure organic vanilla
- 1/3 cup homemade almond milk
- 2/3 cup water
- 1 scoop Botanica Health vanilla sprouted protein powder
- Add the ingredients to your blender & blend until combined, add toppings & enjoy!
