Grain-Free & Vegan 6-Ingredient Banana Bread a.k.a. Your New Fave Recipe!

Guys… I have no words for this banana bread besides…

  • grain + gluten free
  • oil + egg free
  • vegan
  • one bowl
  • 30 minutes
  • refined + added sugar free
  • chocolatey
  • crumbly on the outsides & moist & chewy on the insides
  • indulgent + comforting
  • possibly nut-free
  • SIX INGREDIENTS!!!

I made this two nights ago & THERE’S NOTHING LEFT. Literally, NOTHING LEFT. We’re three people & we DEVOURED it because that’s JUST how GOOD it is!!!!!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 large mashed ripe bananas OR 3 smaller ones
  • 1 + 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  • 1 tsp. pure organic vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup almond butter (or nut free alternative)
  • 1/3 to 1/2 cup vegan dark chocolate chips
  • Coconut oil cooking spray

TO MAKE:

  • Preheat the oven to 350F & line a loaf pan with parchment or aluminum paper
  • Add the mashed banana + the rest of the ingredients to a bowl (except chocolate chips) & mix until a uniform batter is formed
  • Fold in the chocolate chips

  • Lightly spray the loaf pan with coconut oil & add the batter to the pan. Top with a few more chocolate chips
  • Bake for 26-28 minutes until top is browned + crispy & a knife comes out clean

  • Remove from the oven & let cool for 30 mins. before slicing OR refrigerate for 10-15 minutes if you need to slice it faster!
