This morning, I changed up the breaky game yet again & went with a wholesome & really DELISH granola bowl filled with all the goods to fuel me up for my double sweat session
It’s vegan, gluten-free, full of fibre, healthy fats, plant based protein & loads of antioxidants + naturally sweetened with vanilla & Ceylon cinnamon!
What’s in it?
- 1/4 cup cacao quinoa sprouted granola by One Degree Organics
- 1 tbsp. organic goji berries
- 1/2-1 tbsp. bee pollen
- ceylon cinnamon
- a few splashes homemade vanilla cinnamon cashew milk
- handful dark tart cherries
- 1 tsp. hemp hearts
- 1/2 tbsp. organic unsweetened shredded coconut
What I LOVE about bowls like these is that you need just a bit of each ingredient to create a beautiful rainbow full of nutritious foods that keep you full & satisfied without feeling heavy or bloated!
All the ingredients in this bowl have a purpose! My journey towards healthier living has taught me the true meaning of understanding the reasons behind which I’m fuelling my body with certain foods & avoiding or limiting others. It’s not so much about calories but more about nutrient content, vitamins, minerals & the health perks that different foods provide!
Food can do so much for your body to the point of HEALING you from the inside out & IMO, when you understand the logic behind how & why certain foods have certain healing powers, it’s so much more inspiring & motivating to incorporate them into your life!
