Go-To Healthy Snack: Sprouted Toast With Almond Butter & Tart Cherry Butter Topped With Fruit & Ceylon Cinnamon!

You guys are always asking me for healthy snack options, so here’s one! It’s a little more filling & sustaining than a fruit or rice cakes, but it’s definitely a good option to hold you over until dinnertime/if you have late dinner plans! That’s actually why I made this. Yesterday, I had a SUPER BUSY DAY & also had plans to go out for dinner & I didn’t want to get to the restaurant feeling HANGRY & starved, especially after not having had time to eat a proper lunch!

This almond butter & tart cherry spread toast was the perfect concoction to hold me over until dinner! It takes only five minutes to prepare & it’s packed with tons of health benefits!

I simply topped a slice of Ezekiel sesame toast (SPROUTED, BTW) with some organic tart cherry jam (but I also love apple butter or homemade jam!), raw organic creamy almond butter, strawberries & blueberries & sealed the deal with a drizzle of Ceylon cinnamon! Pretty simple, no?

Vegan! Refined-sugar free, even gluten-free, if you swap for a GF bread option OR & nut-free if you swap for sunflower seed butter!


But I won’t. I know you guys want this snack now. So MAKE IT!

My loves, YOU WILL NEED:

  • 1 (or 2) slices of Ezekiel sprouted toast (or gluten-free toast for GF option!);
  • 1/2 tbsp. raw organic creamy almond butter;
  • 1 tbsp. tart jerry buter (or apple butter or other jam/spread);
  • A few sliced strawberries;
  • A handful of fresh blueberries;
  • Ceylon cinnamon!

I really don’t think I need to tell you how to assemble this, now do I? DO IT. & DEVOUR IT!!!!!
