How do I have the time to do it all?
Work, blog, write, rant, cook, bake, exercise, self-care, read/research, chill the F out, see friends & family & run errands?
Truth be told, most of the day, you can find me running around like a chicken without a head. Believe it or not, it’s my reality & I love it!
It’s my reality because I’ve committed so hard to living this lifestyle that it’s no longer a task or habit I’m trying to get used to.
It’s a routine, a lifestyle, it’s natural, it’s my WAY OF LIFE.
Truth also be told, it would most definitely be easier for me to just order take-out, buy prepared food, skip my workout because I had a long day, skimp on the blog posts for a few days, forget to engage with you guys, stay home on the couch & do nothing & not stimulate or challenge myself.
But I don’t want to do that.
That’s the simple answer.
There’s no magic recipe or potion to having the time to do everything you want to in one day. You just get up & DO IT. You don’t think twice.
You think about what you want (or, what you don’t) & you MAKE IT HAPPEN.
We’re all human. We have all been allocated the same amount of hours in our days.
It’s not about the quantity or the duration of time, but rather about WHAT YOU DECIDE TO DO WITH IT & HOW YOU MAKE USE OF IT IN THE MOST WORTHWHILE WAY.
Yes, you still need to chill & relax but that’s also part of something you NEED to consciously make time for.
It’s all about learning how to manage your time in such a way that allows you to be the best version of yourself, all while acknowledging when it’s time to give the BEST YOU a break! That doesn’t make you any less good, successful or accomplished. It just means that you know that to continue being your BEST SELF, you need to take care of YOU.
So hustle when you have to & when you feel you can.
Chill when you’ve had just about enough.
It’s as simple as that.
Make yourselves a priority.
It doesn’t make you selfish. It makes you STRONG & selfless. It means you value your ability to get things done & that in caring for yourself, you’ll be better able to care for & love all those around you.
24 HOURS IS ENOUGH. I SWEAR!!!
