Self-Love Is An Ongoing, Constant, Continuous Process. Self-Love Is Infinite <3
Our bodies look different at every single hour of every single day.
It’s biological & scientific & there’s absolutely nothing we can do about it but TEACH OUR MINDS TO LOVE IT.
Self-love is about learning to EMBRACE our bodies not only when we feel our best BUT ALSO when we want to curl up into a ball & let go & ultimately, when we feel our absolute worst.
Developing a healthy self-love means being comfortable doing things & BEING THINGS, which add quality & beauty to our lives.
It means asking for seconds at dinner cause it was just so delicious & you just want more.
It means indulging & having that ice cream or that chocolate cake your body is craving.
It means having that glass of wine because you had a long day & you deserve it.
Most of all, it means recognizing that YOU, YOURSELF, AS MUCH AS ANYBODY ELSE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD, DESERVE YOUR LOVE & AFFECTION.
So here I am, posing as I snap this mirror selfie (No shame, BTW!), at the end of the day, with a tummy FULL of delicious food, kinda bloated & looking puffy, BUT WHO CARES.
Here I am, on my way to spinning, ADDING QUALITY & BEAUTY TO MY LIFE.
Do I feel my best?
Do I look my best?
But, I love myself.
I love myself & my body, every little inch of it.
Yes, even the parts that are looking curvier.
Even the lady parts that are reappearing.
Even my thighs that are looking more & more voluptuous than they have in two years.
You know what?
I’m nowhere near MY FULL POTENTIAL OF SELF-LOVE.
I still have a lot of work to do & I think I always will.
I think self-love is a constant & continuous process.
I don’t really think there is an ultimate or an end goal to self-love.
I think self-love is infinite.
So, on this MOTIVATIONAL Tuesday evening, I leave you with one thought:
Love yourselves & your bodies to INFINITY & BEYOND (& you will see how infinitely beautiful that will make your life).
You can’t know until you try.
